Tornado At Holiday World 2005

by Emma
(IL,)

It happend when we where least expecting it... on our vacation. I was only 5 at the time. But now I'm 10. I'll tell you all I know. I was on these little water bumper cars in the Christmas section of Holiday World. Then all of a sudden they stopped the ride. I looked up at the sky and it was pitch black. My dad picked me up and we ran towards the locker room. My mom and my sister where right behind us. Then all of a sudden my new hat from Holiday World blew off and I never saw it again. Then all of a sudden the sirens went off. I was so scared. When we got to the locker room it was almost full. When we came out 20 minutes later it was still raining but safe to go on the rides again. I will never forget that day.
