Has the accuracy of air temperature devices used to determine mean world temperature changed over the 150 years or so in the survey bound? Has the number (and reliability) of measurement sites changed ? I have no axe to grind but have analyzed navigation data for many years and it seems as if there's a lot of polemic but very little analysis available to the general public...
