I totally agree with your post. I think the most important action we have to take is to change the way how people learn while they are kids about the earth and the enviroment. However I think at this moment this kids have to learn how to stop the damage we have been producing for many years intead of stop producing it. They have to practice about thinking green by recicling and reusing some materials for a better use of our natural resources.

I'm an architect and I have seen how the new architecture around the world is changing in a positive way. We are using less destructives materials and we are starting our design thinking about less electricity consume and also how to use some spaces to add more natural lungs to our EARTH.

If we all play this role together with the same premise to save the planet of the srtong damage we are causing, we will be in the right way to have a better future to our future children.

Materialistic attitudes and human greed still continues to grow even though global warming is REAL and happening NOW. As populations increase, businesses flourish, we continue to destroy that which sustains us, EARTH.
Many people who manage to fight their way out of poverty/third world countries and come into good fortune believe they deserve to live how many westerns live, with unneeded and expensive luxuries that damage our world and add to global warming.
The Western Countries have a responsibility to lead as an example in living harmoniously with nature and adopting greener ways of living.
We must change the way we view the earth and the way we view wealth. For many things in life that are the most valuable are created by nature.
