Looking under polar caps and damn the water
by: Steve

I'm not that sure I would like to see what lies under the polar caps:)

This would mean a sea level rise of over 60 metres (that is over 197 feet)!

The Three Gorges Dam is proving to be one of the 'white elephants' of modern times. With over 1.4 million people displaced and the walls creaking and groaning under the billions of tons of water, it may well be a disaster in waiting.
